About this painting

Vertical bands of sage green, cream, gold and black march across a wide canvas, no two the same width, with thin cobalt strokes slipped between them like seams. The broadest band, a wall of grainy gold just right of centre, anchors the composition; a plain sage field holds the right edge, while the left half breaks into narrow strips of mint, grey and white.

Edges are ragged rather than taped. Some stripes start halfway down with rounded tips, others fray or overlap, and a few scratched lines cross the green band left of centre. The cobalt appears in just three or four slivers, so it reads sharply.

AA#752 is an original abstract geometric painting showing vertical stripes in sage green, gold, cream, black and cobalt, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 11 standard sizes run from 36×18 in (91×46 cm) to 100×50 in (254×127 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Stripes running top to bottom lend height to a long, low wall, so the canvas works along a restaurant banquette, behind a lobby lounge seating group or over a wide dining-room sideboard. Sage, cream and gold sit naturally with white oak, rattan, brushed brass handles and green marble. Answer the cobalt slivers with a single blue object in the room, a glass vase or one cushion, and stop there.

Specified for lobby & reception, restaurant & bar, living room and dining room; it reads as uplifting and bold.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#752 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 36×18 in to 100×50 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#752 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Could AA#752 be painted in navy and white instead of sage and gold?

Yes. The structure of the painting is its uneven stripes, so the palette can be swapped band for band, for example navy and powder blue in place of the sage and mint, with white or pale grey replacing the gold. Progress photos of the new colourway arrive at every stage, and work continues only once you approve each one.

What does the surface of the wide gold band in AA#752 look like?

It is not smooth. The broad band has a fine, even grain, a little like brushed fabric, while the narrow gold strips on the left are rougher, with flaked edges. Under side light the grain shows clearly; in flat, even light the gold reads more as a solid colour.

Is AA#752 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#752 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#752 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
