About this painting

Small knife-cut blocks of olive, ochre and slate grey gather along the left edge like rooftops seen from the air, beside a wide silver-grey field that fills the rest of the canvas. Pale gaps between the blocks read as lanes, a smaller cluster sits in the top right corner, and broken pieces drift into the lower left and along the bottom. The grey is troweled thick and scraped with white, rough enough to hold ridges of light.

The olive is muted and greyish, lifted by ochre and a few warmer gold touches, so even the crowded edge stays quiet.

AA#783 is an original abstract geometric painting showing textured grey and silver field with olive and gold mosaic-like blocks, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Its map-like grid suits workplaces with an architectural bent: the reception wall of a design or property firm, or a study wall opposite the desk. Grey and olive sit naturally beside concrete, smoked oak, black steel and khaki or moss upholstery. The troweled field changes through the day, so a wall grazed by morning sun or a ceiling wall washer shows it best. Its upright shape fits the slim pier between two tall windows, or a lift-lobby wall.

Specified for workspace & office, lobby & reception, home office and living room; it reads as moody.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#783 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#783 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is AA#783 meant to be an aerial view of a city?

Not literally, though the resemblance is strong: knife blocks separated by pale gaps look like roofs and streets seen from above, and the silver-grey field beside them like a river or frozen ground. That reading makes it a natural fit for property, architecture and planning offices.

Why is most of AA#783 left as open grey?

The open field gives the crowded blocks something to push against. If the grid covered the whole canvas it would read as pattern; kept to the edges, it feels like a settlement beside open water or ice, and the scraped grey becomes a subject in its own right rather than background.

Is AA#783 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#783 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#783 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
