About this painting

Cream and white blossoms climb the canvas in a loose column, from a full, many-petalled head near the bottom to a spray of smaller flowers at the top, among sage, mint and deep green leaves.

Every petal is a single flat knife stroke, square-ended and thick, so the flowers look built from overlapping chips of paint. At upper right a cluster of round discs in rust, apricot and caramel supplies the only real warmth, and a blush-pink flower opens beside the lower bloom. Round green leaf discs and bottle-green shapes fill the bottom corners, darkest at lower right.

TA#706 is an original textured floral painting showing thick knife-petal white and peach flowers among green leaves, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Tall and narrow in its proportions, it suits the strip of wall at the end of a bar counter, beside a host stand, or the pier next to a wardrobe in a guest suite, where a landscape canvas would not fit. Its greens connect with real planting and a garden view; the rust discs tie in with terracotta tiles, cognac leather and copper pendants. In a living room, pair it with sage or olive upholstery so the leaves carry into the furniture.

Specified for guest room & suite, restaurant & bar, living room and bedroom; it reads as uplifting and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#706 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#706 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Are the orange shapes near the top of TA#706 flowers or berries?

They can be read either way: a cluster of small round blooms or a bunch of berries, painted as overlapping discs in rust, apricot and caramel. They are the warmest note in a mostly green and white picture and balance the dark bottle greens at the lower right.

Could the rust discs in TA#706 be repainted in a different accent?

Yes. The rust, apricot and caramel discs at upper right cover only a small area, so they can be repainted in blush, mustard or dusty blue to suit a scheme while the sage and mint leaves and cream blooms stay unchanged. A fabric or paint swatch sent with the request helps.

Is TA#706 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#706 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#706 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
