Cascading red impasto roses on white textured wall decor

Red roses pour down the canvas in a narrowing stream, crowded along the top edge and thinning to a single trail of blooms near the bottom.

Each rose is a twist of thick crimson paint raised off the surface, mixed with olive-green and dusky mauve petals and a smoky gray haze behind the densest part. Loose pink and red petals drift out to either side. Below, a rough white ground with visible palette-knife drags takes over, so the cascade hangs against the white like climbing roses spilling over a garden wall.

With the weight at the top and the blooms tapering downward, it can hang a little higher than usual, letting the white lower half come close to a headboard, a console or a bench without crowding it. A pale gray or dusky rose wall picks up the mauve haze behind the flowers. Daylight keeps the crimson cool and clean; warm evening lamps push it toward scarlet, which suits a bedroom lit mostly after dark.
