About this painting

White surf curls in from the right and breaks against a cliff of saffron, orange and rust that occupies the whole left half. The warm side is built in stacked, overlapping plaster layers like eroded sandstone, yellow at the top darkening to brick brown at the base.

Where the two halves meet, the paint turns gritty and speckled, much like wet sand at the tide line. The white crests are thick, feathered sweeps that all curve the same way and cast the deepest shadows on the surface. Seen another way, it is a beach from above, and the picture never quite settles on either reading.

TA#661 is an original textured seascape painting showing burnt-orange and white sculpted plaster waves meeting diagonally, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

With saffron and rust on one side and white on the other, it bridges warm and cool finishes: a wall between a timber-clad dining room and a white bar, or a reception that mixes terracotta tile with white plaster. Hang it so the white half faces the main window; the ridges are then lit from their own side and their shadows fall into the orange. It needs a wall of its own; crowded among other frames, the two halves lose their pull.

Specified for lobby & reception, restaurant & bar, workspace & office and living room; it reads as cozy & warm and dramatic.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#661 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#661 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Will TA#661 suit a room decorated in blue or grey?

Yes, if the blue or grey is muted. Slate, steel grey and smoky blue sit opposite orange on the colour wheel and make the saffron and rust look richer, while the white crests link to white trim and ceilings. A bright cobalt room would turn it loud, so keep the cool tones dusty.

How does the orange of TA#661 behave under warm restaurant lighting?

It deepens. Under 2700K lamps the saffron at the top turns honey gold and the rust at the base goes nearly brown, while the white crests pick up a cream tint, so the whole piece warms by a shade. Under daylight-balanced office lighting the orange looks brighter and the white stays crisp.

Is TA#661 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#661 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#661 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
