About this painting

A crest of heaped white paint rises across the lower half like surf breaking onto a terracotta shore, set below a smooth field of burnished copper-orange.

The top edge of the white dips in a shallow V at the centre and climbs toward both sides, reaching almost halfway up on the right. Inside the crest the paint is pushed into sharp, raked peaks; further down it breaks apart so flecks of orange show through, like sand under spent foam. The upper field is quieter, its swirling trowel marks catching the light with a soft sheen.

TA#154 is an original textured seascape painting showing sculpted white plaster wave crest against a terracotta-orange field, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Hung above a low oak console in a reception area or opposite a guest-room bed, the crest sits near eye level and the raked peaks can be read up close. Rattan, travertine, unglazed clay pottery and sand-coloured upholstery echo the shoreline idea. Warm evening light deepens the copper toward rust; cool daylight shifts it to a dusty peach, so check the wall under both before choosing a frame.

Specified for guest room & suite, lobby & reception, spa & wellness and bedroom; it reads as calming and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#154 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#154 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is TA#154 a seascape or an abstract?

Both readings work. One way, the white crest is a wave breaking over sunlit sand seen from above; another, it is simply a band of raised white against a copper field. That double reading lets it sit in a coastal hotel room or a minimalist lobby equally well.

Can the copper-terracotta field of TA#154 be made paler?

Yes. The upper field can be mixed lighter toward apricot or peach, or deeper toward rust, to match a fabric or tile sample, while the white crest and its raked peaks are kept as painted. A paler field softens the contrast and makes the wave read more gently.

Is TA#154 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#154 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#154 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
