Studio photograph of the actual canvas. Yours is repainted to your dimensions, so brushwork will differ slightly — that is what an original is.

About this painting

Pale chartreuse roses surface out of near-black olive foliage as if caught by a single shaft of sun, and the bush fills the canvas edge to edge with no sky. About twenty blooms are scattered through it, thickest in a loose drift down the middle and thinning toward the darkest corner at the upper right.

Each rose is cut in with short, curling knife strokes, cream at the petal tips and lime in the folds, and the leaves around them carry yellow-green highlights along their edges. The paint stands up in ridges across the whole surface, so the shadowed areas are textured too, only darker.

TA#550 is an original textured floral painting showing monochrome green rose bush in heavy knife impasto, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

A narrow-beam spotlight works better here than a general wash: aimed at the centre, it lifts the pale roses and lets the corners fall away into shadow, much as the painting already does. Hang it on a column or a narrow pier in a restaurant, or above a boardroom sideboard, against oxblood, deep teal or smoked oak panelling. Across a room the blooms read as scattered points of light; up close the knife ridges take over.

Specified for restaurant & bar, meeting & boardroom, dining room and home office; it reads as moody.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#550 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#550 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why does TA#550 feel moody rather than fresh for a floral?

Because nearly all of it is dark olive. The roses are pale chartreuse rather than pink or red, and they sit in deep shade, so the canvas reads like a garden at dusk. It looks best beside leather, brass and dark timber rather than pastel fabrics.

Which accent colours work with the green roses of TA#550?

Repeat the pale lime of the petals once, in a cushion, glassware or a lampshade lining, and let the olive carry the rest. Mustard, ochre and tobacco brown sit comfortably beside it, while stark white walls make the dark ground look heavier than it is.

Is TA#550 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#550 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#550 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
