About this painting

Gold flecks crowd the top edge of a soft cream field and drift downward like fine snow, thinning as they fall until the lower third is almost bare. Between them the ground is a misty blend of beige, sand and warm white, streaked vertically as if a veil hangs from the gold, and dotted with small bright points of light.

The top band is granular and built up, a crust of tiny raised specks, while the rest stays smooth. Finer gold dust trails down both sides and gathers in a faint column near the bottom centre; the open space below is what makes that upper band look so rich.

MA#181 is an original minimalist painting showing soft cream field with gold speckling drifting down from the top edge, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 11 standard sizes run from 36×18 in (91×46 cm) to 100×50 in (254×127 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The long panoramic shape spans a three-seat sofa, a restaurant banquette or the wall behind a hotel reception counter in one piece. Downlights set above its top edge, as in the room photographs, catch the gold where it is densest. Greige, warm grey and stone walls keep the cream ground pale and clean; dark velvet cushions, smoked glass and brass all suit it. Keep the bottom edge about a hand's width above the sofa back.

Specified for lobby & reception, restaurant & bar, dining room and living room; it reads as uplifting and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for MA#181 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 36×18 in to 100×50 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on MA#181 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Where is the gold concentrated on MA#181?

Along the top. A dense, granular band runs the full width of the upper edge, then breaks into scattered flecks that thin out about halfway down. Finer specks trail down the left and right sides and gather in a soft column at the lower centre, leaving most of the bottom cream.

How does MA#181 look on a white wall compared with a grey one?

On bright white, the cream and beige ground reads noticeably warm, almost sand-coloured. On greige or mid-grey panelling, as in the room photographs, the same ground looks pale and luminous and the gold stands out more. Choose the wall tone with that shift in mind.

Is MA#181 a print or an original painting?

An original. MA#181 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of MA#181 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
