About this painting

Indigo dunes stretch across the lower two-thirds of a horizontal canvas, each ridge combed with fine pale lines that are carved into the surface rather than simply painted on.

The lines change direction from ridge to ridge, sweeping, fanning and folding over one another, so dark blue and pale stripes set up a slow rhythm along the width. The farthest ridge is left smooth in a misty steel blue, which pushes it back into distance. Above, the cream sky is entirely empty, and that bare third keeps the carving from feeling crowded.

MA#064 is an original minimalist landscape painting showing indigo dune-like ridges built from fine carved parallel lines under a cream sky, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 24×20 in (61×51 cm) to 80×60 in (203×153 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Its long, low shape sits naturally above a bed, a treatment couch or a credenza along a boardroom wall, where the dune horizon runs parallel to the furniture beneath it. Navy, sand, pale linen, limestone and walnut all suit it, and brushed brass picks up the warmth of the cream sky. Leave generous clear wall above and to the sides; an empty sky needs space around it to stay empty.

Specified for spa & wellness, guest room & suite, meeting & boardroom and bedroom; it reads as calming.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for MA#064 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×20 in to 80×60 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on MA#064 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

How do the carved lines of MA#064 look in side light?

Livelier than in flat light. Each groove holds a thin line of shadow, so the ridges seem to ripple as you walk past. Lit straight on, the carving quietens into pale stripes. A spotlight angled down from close to the wall shows the relief best.

Why is the farthest ridge left without lines?

To create distance. Painted smooth in a paler steel blue, the back ridge reads like a dune line softened by haze, and it gives the combed ridges in front a calm band to sit against. Without it the carving would run straight into the sky.

Is MA#064 a print or an original painting?

An original. MA#064 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of MA#064 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
