About this painting

An olive green column drops from the top of the canvas to a rounded tip, while a mustard half-sun hangs in the opposite corner and a nest of fine black arches rises from the bottom to meet them.

Each colour is laid flat and matte with crisp edges. The outermost arch runs flush along the olive column, locking the two together, while a band of cream keeps the arches apart from the sun. The arches are the busiest area: thin black bands nested one inside another, with a single ochre stripe down the centre that links them to the sun above.

MA#434 is an original minimalist geometric painting showing olive arch, ochre half-sun and concentric line arch, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Because its shapes hang from the top edge and rise from the bottom, the canvas can lean on the floor or hang low behind a console without losing anything: only the straight legs of the arches sit near the lower edge. Oak, rattan, cream bouclé and brushed brass suit it, and an olive or mustard textile in the room repeats its colours directly. On a white wall the cream ground blends in and the three shapes appear to float.

Specified for guest room & suite, spa & wellness, bedroom and living room; it reads as calming and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for MA#434 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on MA#434 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why does MA#434 look mid-century?

Its flat, cut-paper shapes, rainbow-style line arches and olive, mustard and cream palette all come from 1950s and 1960s graphic design and textiles. Nothing is shaded or blended, so the canvas reads as pure shape and colour, the way a printed fabric or a poster from that period does.

Could the olive and mustard in MA#434 be changed to suit a scheme?

Yes. The design works as three flat colours on cream, so the olive column could become terracotta or dusty blue and the mustard sun a rust or blush, with the black line arches kept as the constant. Share a swatch or paint reference and the colours are matched before painting starts.

Is MA#434 a print or an original painting?

An original. MA#434 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of MA#434 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
