About this painting

Purple and cream blooms break open at the centre of the square in heavy, angular slabs of knife paint, half flower and half abstraction. A white burst flecked with yellow sits near the top, a dark aubergine mass just below and to the right, and violet petals scatter outward into a turquoise sky.

The lower half drops into deep teal and bottle green, crossed by sharp olive and chartreuse strokes like blades of leaves, with a patch of dusty mauve at lower right. Nothing is blended smooth: the paint is ridged everywhere and thickest in the white and purple at the centre.

CA#1128 is an original colorful floral painting showing knife-painted purple and white iris-like blooms on blue and green, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 10 standard sizes run from 24×24 in (61×61 cm) to 72×72 in (183×183 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The teals and greens in its lower half echo foliage, so it suits a room that looks onto a garden, or a restaurant with planting at the windows: place it opposite the glass so the painting answers the view. Light from above catches the top edge of every ridge. Ivory bouclé and pale oak tie into the white centre, while plum or bottle-green velvet takes up the darker half.

Specified for lobby & reception, living room, restaurant & bar and gallery & retail; it reads as uplifting and bold.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#1128 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×24 in to 72×72 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#1128 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Are the flowers in CA#1128 irises or pansies?

They are left open. The purple and cream petals with a flash of yellow recall bearded irises, and the dark centres have something of a pansy, but the forms are built from abstract knife slabs rather than drawn botanically, so the canvas sits between a floral and an abstract.

Which accent colours deepen the purple of CA#1128?

Ochre, mustard and warm brass are the complements of violet, so they make the purple look deeper, while olive or sage repeats the yellow-green blades in the lower half. Avoid a cool lilac wall, which would flatten the centre.

Is CA#1128 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#1128 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#1128 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
