About this painting

A large magenta peony with a yellow heart opens just left of centre, and around it a garden thicket of coral, peach and blush blooms spills down the canvas between round, glossy leaves.

The greens run from acid lime and chartreuse at the top, where pale streaks drip downward like light filtering through foliage, to bottle green and deep teal at the base. Small marigold and crimson buds are dotted all through. Paint goes on in short, thick dabs, one loaded stroke per leaf, and a salmon-pink streak falls down the upper right like a ribbon of loose petals.

CA#1006 is an original colorful floral painting showing pink and coral peonies with green foliage in thick knife dabs, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Green is the ground colour here, so the canvas settles against warm white, blush plaster or pale sage, and over a sideboard it picks up table linen and fresh flowers. In a restaurant, place it opposite the seats so diners look at it, rather than above a banquette that only the rest of the room can see. Daylight keeps the lime fresh; candles and warm pendants deepen the corals toward rose.

Specified for corridor & circulation, restaurant & bar, dining room and entryway & hallway; it reads as uplifting and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#1006 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#1006 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Are the big blooms in CA#1006 peonies or roses?

Peonies, judging by the loose, ruffled heads and the yellow stamens showing at the heart of the large magenta bloom. The smaller round crimson and marigold shapes read as closed buds. Nothing is drawn botanically; every flower is built from overlapping dabs rather than outlines.

Could the coral and lime of CA#1006 be shifted to softer tones?

Yes. The magenta, coral and peach blooms and the lime-to-bottle-green foliage can each be toned down or warmed up before painting starts, for example dusty rose flowers on a sage ground for a quieter dining room. The composition and the dab work stay the same.

Is CA#1006 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#1006 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#1006 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
