About this painting

Tall cacti rise in a row against a pale blue sky, each column capped with an orange-red bloom tipped in cream. The plants run from lime to bottle green, streaked with yellow and teal, and one wide lime paddle sits low at the centre.

Below them the desert floor becomes a patchwork of pink, navy, plum, yellow and white slabs, with a white ruffled flower near the bottom edge and a round green cactus to the right. Navy shadow between the stems pushes the plants forward. Palette knife ridges cover the whole square, heaviest in that lower band, so colours sit as separate pieces rather than blending.

CA#080 is an original colorful floral painting showing flowering cacti with red and yellow blooms among colourful stylised desert rocks, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 10 standard sizes run from 24×24 in (61×61 cm) to 72×72 in (183×183 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Almost any colour in the room can be borrowed from it: a mustard chair, a pink cushion, teal tiles. That makes it easy in a cantina-style bar or café with terracotta floors and whitewashed walls, or a dining room with a plain oak table. The square shape needs space around it; at 48x48 in or larger, give it a whole stretch of wall between two windows or doors rather than squeezing it beside shelving.

Specified for restaurant & bar, dining room, workspace & office and living room; it reads as uplifting and bold.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#080 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×24 in to 72×72 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#080 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why is the ground beneath the cacti in CA#080 painted as coloured blocks?

It turns the desert floor into pattern. Instead of pebbles and sand, the lower band is broken into pink, navy, plum and yellow knife slabs that echo the flowers above, so the bottom of the square is as lively as the top and the canvas holds together from across a room.

Will CA#080 clash with a room that already has strong colour?

Only if the room's colours are missing from the painting. It carries pink, lime, teal, navy, mustard and orange-red, so a room built on any two of those looks planned. A scheme already committed to burgundy and forest green would compete with it; white or sand walls are the safest ground.

Is CA#080 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#080 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#080 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
