About this painting

A blossoming branch twists up through the canvas, heavy with apricot, coral and shell-pink flowers and a crowd of small olive and lime leaves.

Every leaf and petal is a single loaded dab of paint set beside the next, so the surface is ridged like scales. The darkest greens collect around the trunk at the left and along the lower edge; the light opens up at the top right, where a small patch of pale blue sky shows through. The largest blooms, two orange-apricot roses and a pale pink camellia-like flower, sit along the trunk's curve, so your gaze climbs with it.

CA#916 is an original colorful floral painting showing pink and peach blossoms on green branches built in thick knife dabs, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Hung behind the bed in a main bedroom or hotel suite, its deep greens and warm blossom suit taupe, mushroom and warm grey panelling, with brass or bronze lamps picking up the apricot. In a lobby, hang it on a narrow pier between windows or beside a lift bank, where its height fills the strip of wall. The colour is dense and mid-toned, so it still reads in rooms kept dim in the evening.

Specified for lobby & reception, guest room & suite, living room and bedroom; it reads as uplifting and cozy & warm.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#916 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#916 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What kind of tree is shown in CA#916?

No single species is intended. The pale pink cup-shaped flowers and fuller apricot blooms on a twisting trunk suggest a flowering fruit tree or a camellia in spring, painted for colour and texture rather than as a botanical record.

Is the knife work on CA#916 equally thick all over?

No. It is heaviest along the trunk and in the large apricot blooms, where paint is piled up in overlapping knife strokes. The scattered leaves and small petals in the upper half are single raised dabs with flatter ground between them, so the top looks lighter and more open than the dense lower section.

Is CA#916 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#916 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#916 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
