About this painting

Amber and gold strands sweep through the centre of the long canvas like trailing fins, curling up at both ends and breaking into small flame-shaped flicks.

The ground travels from burnt orange on the far left through a pale cream centre into turquoise, ending in deep navy at the lower right, so the strands cross from warm into cool. Around them, short knife-laid petals of white, peach and teal overlap in layers, with a little rose and coral at the left edge. The centre stays lightest and loosest, while the heaviest colour is packed into the navy corner, giving the sweep a clear left-to-right direction.

AA#044 is an original abstract painting showing non-representational flowing orange and gold strands sweeping into teal on white, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 11 standard sizes run from 36×18 in (91×46 cm) to 100×50 in (254×127 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Its long two-to-one shape is made for running above a three-seat sofa, a hotel bed wall or a lounge banquette, ideally spanning a little less than the furniture below. Each end wants a partner in the room: terracotta, rust or ochre near the orange side, petrol blue or teal velvet near the navy side. On a white or soft grey wall the cream middle nearly dissolves, so the amber strands appear to float free of the canvas edge.

Specified for lobby & reception, guest room & suite, living room and workspace & office; it reads as uplifting and peaceful.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#044 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 36×18 in to 100×50 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#044 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Are the amber strands in AA#044 meant to be fish or birds?

They are kept abstract on purpose. The curling ends recall koi fins, phoenix tails or windblown silk depending on who is looking, and nothing on the canvas settles it. That ambiguity lets the painting sit in a lobby or a bedroom without bringing a specific story with it.

Which end of AA#044 should sit nearest the entrance to a room?

Ideally the orange end. Warm orange tends to advance and navy to recede, so with the orange nearer the door the canvas seems to open away from anyone walking in. On a wall seen mostly from one side, keep the navy end furthest from the viewer for the strongest sense of depth.

Is AA#044 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#044 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#044 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
