About this painting

Two dark rounded forms, pieced together from patches of navy, slate and black, almost touch in the middle of a warm tan ground, leaving an S-shaped channel of wood colour between them.

The left form drops from the top edge and ends in a soft curve; the right one fills the lower right with rounded shoulders, so the pair interlocks like two halves of a clasp. Inside each, rectangles of slightly different darkness sit side by side like patchwork. Fine vertical streaks run through every colour, so the tan resembles wood veneer and the dark blocks look woven, yet the paint is flat and matte.

AA#024 is an original abstract geometric painting showing rounded navy and black blocks over a tan woodgrain ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

In a restaurant or bar with low lighting, give it its own wall washer or picture light: the navy and black absorb light and lose their patchwork detail when the room dims. It suits mid-century chairs, caramel leather banquettes and olive or rust textiles. In a living room or guest suite, the vertical shape fits a chimney breast, a column or the wall beside a tall cabinet, where its dark mass anchors lighter furniture.

Specified for guest room & suite, restaurant & bar, living room and home office; it reads as cozy & warm and moody.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#024 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#024 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the woodgrain on AA#024 real wood?

No. The whole picture is acrylic on canvas. The grain is painted as fine vertical streaks in the tan areas, and the same streaking carries through the navy and black blocks, so from a few steps away the surface looks like veneer and dyed cloth set side by side.

Does AA#024 suit a mid-century interior?

Yes. Its rounded blocks and wood-tone ground echo mid-century modern graphics and textiles, so it sits naturally with tapered legs, teak-coloured joinery and globe lamps. The muted navy and black keep it from looking retro or themed, which matters in a hotel room or restaurant.

Is AA#024 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#024 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#024 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
