About this painting

A corridor of combed ridges recedes to a pale opening at the centre of the canvas, its ceiling and floor grooved horizontally and its walls ribbed from top to bottom. Beige, black, slate grey and navy split the walls into quarters, and two beige curves mirror each other across the middle, one swelling from the upper left and one from the lower right, so the passage seems to twist as you look into it.

The grooves change direction with each plane, which is what sells the depth: those on the ceiling and floor converge toward the opening while the side walls stay upright, like timber cladding.

AA#1053 is an original abstract geometric painting showing ribbed geometric panels in beige, black, grey and navy forming a tunnel perspective, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

At the far end of a real corridor its painted passage extends the actual one; centre the pale opening at eye height so the perspective lines up with the viewer. The neutral palette sits easily with fluted panels, oak, smoked glass and black metal. Downlight from directly above makes the horizontal grooves throw thin shadows, while a sidelight sharpens the vertical ribs. Behind an office reception desk it reads architectural and calm rather than decorative.

Specified for corridor & circulation, entryway & hallway, lobby & reception and workspace & office; it reads as moody and dramatic.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#1053 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#1053 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why does AA#1053 look like a passage you could walk into?

The ridges follow one-point perspective. Ceiling and floor grooves run horizontally and narrow toward a pale opening at the centre, while the wall grooves stay vertical, as boards in a real hallway would. The mirrored beige curves then add a slight twist to the space.

How do the navy panels of AA#1053 behave next to dark furniture?

Navy is the darkest colour here after black, and under warm light it can read nearly black. Beside charcoal upholstery or black metal it adds a cool undertone; beside oak or tan leather the beige panels take over and the whole canvas warms up.

Is AA#1053 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#1053 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#1053 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
