About this painting

A horizontal band of gold, sage green and black streaks crosses the middle of a tall cream canvas, like a treeline reflected in still water.

Above the band, pale beige and grey strokes are dragged straight down from the top edge; below it, sage and mint run down into a white lower third. The gold is broken and grainy, laid in short vertical dabs that catch light differently from the matte greens around it. The black marks are the smallest and sharpest, scattered along the band's lower edge, and every stroke on the canvas runs vertically, which stretches the picture upward.

AA#049 is an original abstract painting showing vertical drips of gold leaf and mint green over a cream ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The upright strokes lengthen a wall, so it suits a narrow feature wall in a hotel corridor, a spa entrance or the space beside a bed in a tall-ceilinged suite. Against fluted walnut panelling, travertine or warm grey plaster, as in the photographs, the gold picks up brass fittings. Hang it with the coloured band close to eye level and light it with a downlight angled from above; the gold flickers as people pass, while flat front lighting dulls it.

Specified for spa & wellness, guest room & suite, corridor & circulation and bedroom; it reads as calming and uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#049 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#049 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What is the band across AA#049 meant to be?

Nothing literal, though it is often read as a line of trees mirrored in water: the paler strokes above and below repeat its verticals like a reflection. With no horizon or drawn detail, it suggests a landscape while staying abstract.

Could AA#049 be painted with silver in place of the gold?

Yes. The gold strokes can be swapped for silver or pewter, which suits chrome, cool marble and grey stone. The sage, mint, grey and black band and the cream ground stay as they are, so the treeline effect is unchanged and only the warmth of the accent shifts.

Is AA#049 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#049 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#049 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
