About this painting

Pale blocks of beige, cream and blue-grey overlap like sheets of tracing paper, and a near-black charcoal band down the right edge holds them in place. The largest shape, a tall blue-grey rectangle in the centre, is brushed on so thinly that faint scuffs and streaks show through it.

On the left, the beige panels step down in a loose stack and fade into a soft white corner, leaving the eye room to rest. All the weight is on the right: fine pale veins cross the dark at the top, and a brown-black column with vertical drag marks runs to the bottom edge.

AA#022 is an original abstract geometric painting showing overlapping beige, grey, black and white rectangles, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Because the dark weight sits on the right, place it where that edge balances something lighter on the other side, such as a window, a lamp or an open doorway. Above a headboard in a guest suite or bedroom it gives quiet contrast without busy pattern; in a boardroom it can face the table without pulling attention from a screen. Warm white or greige walls suit it, and 2700 to 3000K lighting keeps the beige from turning grey.

Specified for guest room & suite, meeting & boardroom, bedroom and home office; it reads as peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#022 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#022 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why are the darkest areas of AA#022 all on one side?

That asymmetry gives the composition its balance: the pale blocks on the left seem to float, and the charcoal and brown-black column on the right anchors them, much as a single heavy stone sets off raked gravel. It also gives the canvas a clear direction, so consider which way the dark edge faces.

Does the blue-grey in AA#022 read as blue or as grey?

Mostly grey. The central rectangle carries a slight blue cast that shows in daylight and north-facing rooms, but under warm lamps it settles toward a soft dove grey. If the room already has pale blue textiles the link will be noticed; otherwise it reads as a neutral.

Is AA#022 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#022 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#022 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
