Oversized white daisy on gray textured canvas art

A single white daisy, far too big for its canvas, is cut off by the right edge so only half of it shows: long petals fan out to the left from a gold-brown centre pressed against the side. The petals are sculpted in thick, smooth ridges, creamy white with grey and blush shadows in the folds, and the lowest ones bend forward as if the flower were turning outward. The centre is a knot of bronze and gold dabs.

Around the bloom, the grey ground is scraped into blocky shapes, with streaks running down like drips. One orange fleck near the top is the only warm note.
