About this painting

Espresso brown, chalk white, oatmeal cream and sage grey-green meet edge to edge on a tall canvas, every block laid on with a knife so thickly that the strokes stand up in ridges.

The white field on the right is the brightest and roughest area, and its lower edge breaks into drips that run down into the grey-green. Where brown meets cream, white paint has been flicked across the seam in small splashes. Two quieter accents reward a closer look: a blush-pink patch at the centre and a thin sliver of rust on the left edge, while charcoal closes the lower right corner.

TA#270 is an original textured geometric painting showing heavy palette-knife texture in white, cream, dark brown, sage grey-green and pale pink patches, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Behind a restaurant banquette, the dark brown corner sits above diners' heads while the paler cream and sage stay at seated eye level, so the wall feels anchored without pressing on the table. Cane, pale ash and rust or terracotta upholstery all suit it, echoing the thin rust sliver on the left edge. Hung across from a guest-suite bed, it catches low morning sun coming in sideways, which rakes over the white ridges and makes them stand out.

Specified for guest room & suite, restaurant & bar, dining room and corridor & circulation; it reads as calming and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#270 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#270 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What are the small splashes along the brown edge of TA#270?

Flicks of white paint thrown across the seam where dark brown meets cream, left as droplets and short trails rather than smoothed away. They break up the boundary between the darkest and palest blocks, which would otherwise read as a hard cut, and they only become clear within a few steps of the canvas.

Which colour in TA#270 is easiest to repeat in soft furnishings?

The sage grey-green. It is the only cool mid-tone on the canvas and sits in the lower half, close to seat and cushion height, so a sage linen chair or a grey-green runner links the room to it. The blush-pink patch is too small to carry a whole fabric; keep it to one accent.

Is TA#270 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#270 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#270 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
