About this painting

Finely ribbed cream and white bands sweep across the canvas in wide arcs, combed into hundreds of parallel ridges, while a single dark chocolate stripe cuts down the left side against them. In the top right corner sits a block of brown worked in vertical grooves like split timber, the one place where the lines run straight.

The relief is heaviest along the curves, where the ridges bunch and fan. A narrow beige strip at the lower left and a buttery tone inside the big arc keep the whites from going flat.

TA#462 is an original textured geometric painting showing ribbed cream and white curves with a dark brown band and wood-grain corner, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Over a bed with an upholstered headboard, the pale ribbing answers boucle and crumpled linen, while the dark stripe gives the wall a spine. The vertical format also fits the narrow strip between a wardrobe and a window in a guest suite. At night, a wall-mounted reading lamp angled across the canvas throws soft shadow down each ridge, so the surface looks deeper after dark than by day.

Specified for guest room & suite, corridor & circulation, living room and bedroom; it reads as calming and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#462 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#462 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the brown corner of TA#462 real wood?

No, it is textured and painted on the canvas like the rest. The vertical grooves are worked into the surface and toned dark brown, so they read as timber grain beside the cream ribs, but the whole work is one continuous canvas surface.

How much brown does TA#462 bring into a room?

Less than a first glance suggests: roughly a fifth of the surface, split between the diagonal stripe and the grooved corner block. The rest is white, cream and soft beige, so it behaves as a pale canvas with a dark accent rather than a two-tone one.

Is TA#462 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#462 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#462 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
