About this painting

Golden poppies float on hair-thin stems against a pale blue and cream sky, and loose petals drift above them as if a breeze had just passed through.

Each open flower is a few raised dabs of thick gold paint, four or five rounded petals around a dark dotted centre, so the blooms sit visibly on top of the smooth sky. Lower down, the stems thicken into a tangle of bronze, tan and ochre strokes, a meadow floor with no horizon. One patch of stronger blue near the top right breaks the haze, and the blossoms thin out as they climb.

TA#594 is an original textured floral painting showing field of golden poppies on a pale blue sky, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The flowers grow up from the bottom edge, so the canvas looks right when its base sits close to something solid: a sideboard top, a banquette back or the headboard in a guest suite. A pale blue wall makes the sky vanish into the room; warm white or soft camel keeps its edge. Brass pendants and gold-rimmed glassware repeat the flowers, and a warm downlight from above lets each raised bloom cast a small shadow.

Specified for restaurant & bar, guest room & suite, dining room and living room; it reads as uplifting and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#594 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#594 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Are the flowers in TA#594 poppies or buttercups?

They are painted as poppies: cupped petals on long, bare, wiry stems with a dark spot at each centre. The colour is gold rather than a field poppy's red, so they read as golden poppies of the Iceland kind, simplified rather than botanically exact.

Does the sky in TA#594 lean blue or grey?

Mostly a soft powder blue mixed with cream, with one stronger patch of cornflower blue near the top right. Beside cool grey walls it reads clearly blue; beside warm beige it looks paler, almost cream, and the gold flowers stand out more.

Is TA#594 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#594 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#594 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
