About this painting

Cobalt, amber and cream flowers crowd the full width of the canvas, packed so tightly that the petals of one bloom fold over the next.

The largest orange flower, with a dark seed head, sits at the centre, flanked by a white bloom to its left and a cobalt one above; navy blooms anchor the lower left and the right. Along the bottom, long blue and cream strokes fan downward like leaves, and the top edge breaks up into pale cream and honey petals. Each petal is a curled knife stroke with a raised lip, and the relief is deepest around the orange centres.

TA#988 is an original textured floral painting showing sculpted blue, orange and white knife-petal blossoms edge to edge, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 11 standard sizes run from 36×18 in (91×46 cm) to 100×50 in (254×127 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Pick up one colour family in the room, not both at full strength. Ochre or mustard cushions against a pale blue wall let the orange blooms glow; navy textiles against warm white let the blue lead. Oak, rattan and cream bouclé suit it, while chrome and black glass feel cold beside it. In a restaurant, give it the long wall that guests face from their tables, lit evenly so no part of the bouquet falls into shadow.

Specified for restaurant & bar, lobby & reception, dining room and living room; it reads as uplifting and cozy & warm.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#988 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 36×18 in to 100×50 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#988 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why do the blue and orange in TA#988 work together?

Blue and orange sit across from one another on the colour wheel, and placed side by side each pushes the other to look stronger. The white and cream blooms between them act as a buffer, which is why the canvas feels warm and lively rather than clashing.

Could the cobalt blooms in TA#988 be painted in teal or sage instead?

Yes. The blue and navy flowers can be repainted in deep teal or soft sage while the amber, orange and cream stay as they are. Teal keeps most of the contrast with the orange; sage gives a gentler, garden-like look that suits a café or breakfast room.

Is TA#988 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#988 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#988 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
