About this painting

Looping and doubling back on itself, one black line traces what reads as a seated figure over soft beige circles and blocks.

Behind the line sit two partly hidden circles, a tall rectangle and a pair of lower blocks, all warm beige brushed with paler streaks so they look cloudy rather than flat. The line shifts between a firmer stroke and a hairline as it travels, crossing itself again and again without settling into a clear outline. Around the arrangement the ivory ground is left almost bare. Line and shape never quite align, and that slight mismatch keeps the picture lively.

MA#044 is an original minimalist figurative painting showing continuous black line figure over soft beige circle and square blocks, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Line drawings reward a passing glance, which is why it suits corridors, hotel lift lobbies and entrance halls where people see it on the move. Its oatmeal, sand and ivory tones sit easily with limewashed walls, travertine, light oak and bouclé, and the black line can be echoed by slim black door hardware or picture rails. In a guest room or bedroom it hangs well above a bedside table or as one of two along a corridor wall.

Specified for corridor & circulation, guest room & suite, entryway & hallway and bedroom; it reads as peaceful and calming.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for MA#044 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on MA#044 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is there a figure in MA#044?

Loosely. The looping line can be read as a seated figure, with the upper loops suggesting a head and shoulders and the long lower curves the legs, but it never closes into a clean outline, so it works just as well as an abstract drawing.

How do the beige blocks in MA#044 sit in a neutral scheme?

They behave like a swatch of natural stone. The streaky, cloudy beige matches oatmeal linen, travertine, sand-coloured render and pale oak, so the painting blends into a neutral room and lets the black line do the work. Against a stark white wall the beige looks warmer and more defined.

Is MA#044 a print or an original painting?

An original. MA#044 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of MA#044 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
