About this painting

A narrow black bar stands at the base of a tall warm-grey canvas, its top lined up exactly with the lower edge of a beige column above. Grey fills the whole left side and the lower right corner, brushed thin enough for the canvas weave to show, while the beige in the upper right is scuffed with paler streaks where the paint was dragged dry.

The bar sits just left of the colour join, the only hard, dark note in the picture, and it stops the strict geometry from feeling static.

MA#061 is an original minimalist geometric painting showing tall canvas divided into grey and beige blocks with a short black bar, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 11 standard sizes run from 18×36 in (46×91 cm) to 50×100 in (127×254 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The two-to-one proportion is made for narrow piers: between guest room doors along a hotel corridor, beside a lift, or flanking an entrance. Since the black bar sits low, the canvas can hang closer to a bench or skirting than usual and let its height do the work. Warm grey and beige sit naturally with travertine, walnut, bronze and lime plaster, and a downlight from above picks out the dry streaks in the beige.

Specified for corridor & circulation, guest room & suite, meeting & boardroom and entryway & hallway; it reads as cozy & warm.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for MA#061 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 18×36 in to 50×100 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on MA#061 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Does MA#061 work repeated along a corridor?

Yes. Because it is painted to order, the same composition can be made several times and hung at even intervals between doors, where the low black bars set up a steady rhythm. Each canvas differs slightly in its brushwork, which keeps the run from looking mechanical.

What does the black bar do in the composition?

It anchors everything. Without it the canvas would be two soft neutral fields; the bar adds one hard vertical, placed right beside the line where grey meets beige and ending level with the base of the beige, which ties the three blocks together.

Is MA#061 a print or an original painting?

An original. MA#061 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of MA#061 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
