Carved concentric arcs in black and white wall decor

Dozens of fine white arcs fan out from a single point on the horizon line, cut into the black upper half of the canvas like ripples spreading upward through dark water.

The arcs are incised into raised plaster, so each white line sits in its own shallow groove while the black between them stays dense and matte. Below the split the mood changes completely: a mottled white half, clouded with soft grey smudges and faint round imprints, crossed only by one hairline running down near the left side. The hard horizontal division gives the work its structure, and the quiet lower half lets the carved rings carry the drama.
