Black band above soft sprayed marks on white wall art

A solid band of warm black caps the canvas, and beneath it soft sprayed strokes drift across white like handwriting seen out of focus. Between the two runs a narrow strip where the spray thickens into blurred grey posts, cut off above and below by clean horizontal edges, so the picture stacks into three layers. In the lower field the marks slant on the left, then curl at the lower right into loops that almost become letters.

A faint pale hairline crosses the black near its lower edge, and wide gaps of bare white open between the lower strokes. The surface is flat throughout.
