About this painting

Shafts of pink and yellow light slant down through a dark forest canopy and land on two banks of flowers, golden yellow on the left and soft pink on the right, with a shadowed path running between them.

The upper half is deep green, blue-grey and near black, painted in feathery strokes that suggest leaves and hanging moss; the light is the one bright passage, brushed in wide translucent bands that fade before they reach the ground. The flowers are thicker: five-petalled pink blooms with darker centres, clusters of yellow and small magenta sprays, dabbed on in raised paint. One orange leaf lies on the path.

IA#776 is an original impressionist floral painting showing sunbeams through forest trees onto pink and yellow garden flowers, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Dark-toned rooms suit it best. On deep teal, slate-blue or charcoal panelling the forest blends into the wall and the light shaft looks as if it shines through it; in a candle-lit dining room or a spa's quiet room the effect is close to a window. The flowers sit in the lowest third, so leave a generous gap above a headboard, sofa back or console, or they will be crowded by whatever stands in front.

Specified for restaurant & bar, spa & wellness, bedroom and entryway & hallway; it reads as romantic and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#776 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#776 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Which way do the sunbeams in IA#776 fall?

Down and to the left, from a gap in the canopy near the top centre. The beams are pink at their edges and pale yellow at the core, and they fade before reaching the ground, so the flowers are lit by their glow rather than by direct sun.

What does IA#776 look like in a dim room at night?

The dark forest recedes almost completely and the light shaft and the pink and yellow flowers are what remain visible, so the canvas reads like a lit opening in the wall. A single warm lamp angled at the top edge strengthens that effect without washing out the shadows.

Is IA#776 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#776 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#776 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
