a large square abstract painting divided into fields of dusty mauve, warm gray and mint, split by a black and gold vein that runs down the center and along the lower third, in matte textured paint

Studio photograph of the actual canvas. Yours is repainted to your dimensions, so brushwork will differ slightly — that is what an original is.

About this painting

Two dark veins edged in gold cross low on a square canvas, one climbing almost to the top, the other running sideways, and between them sit four quite different fields of colour. Dusty rose fills the whole upper right, clouded with plum shadow and crossed by one fine scratched line; warm grey takes the upper left.

Below the crossing, a pale mint pool sits in the lower left corner, and peach and apricot glow at lower right above a lacy, crackled patch of white. Gold pools where the veins meet, beside a streak of white. The paint is matte and the colour soft, so the veins carry the contrast.

AA#693 is an original abstract painting showing mauve and grey fields split by black and gold veins, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 10 standard sizes run from 24×24 in (61×61 cm) to 72×72 in (183×183 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Dusty rose is the dominant colour, so the canvas sits best where pink is already in the scheme: blush velvet seating, terrazzo with rose chips, or a restaurant with warm plaster walls. Against white panelling it looks cooler and the gold edges come forward. In a dining room, hang it so the horizontal vein falls near the eye level of seated guests; the crossing then relates to the table rather than to the ceiling.

Specified for restaurant & bar, lobby & reception, dining room and entryway & hallway; it reads as romantic and dramatic.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#693 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×24 in to 72×72 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#693 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the crossing of the veins in AA#693 meant as a cross symbol?

Not by design. The vertical and horizontal veins meet low and left of centre, their arms are unequal, and the gold makes the junction the brightest point. It reads more like cracks meeting in stone than a religious sign, which matters for hotel and restaurant clients.

Should a room repeat the mint field in AA#693?

Only lightly. The greyed mint is the smallest field, tucked into the lower left corner, and one sage cushion or a eucalyptus stem nearby is enough. Matching it heavily pulls attention away from the dusty rose, which is the colour the whole canvas is built around.

Is AA#693 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#693 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#693 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
