About this painting

A ridge of dark violet and black shapes cuts across a pink and peach sky like a mountain range glimpsed through haze, entering from the left edge and breaking apart just right of centre. Above it, magenta and rose strokes slant down from the upper left toward a burst of white and pale yellow, like light breaking through cloud.

Below the ridge a rust-brown swoop curves under the dark cluster, flicked with thin white lines. The paint goes on in broad, loaded strokes, thickest in the white highlights and the dark core, where flecks of ochre sit among the purple. The far right fades to lilac and soft coral.

AA#700 is an original abstract painting showing pink and peach field with a dark purple jagged cluster and white splatter, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 11 standard sizes run from 36×18 in (91×46 cm) to 100×50 in (254×127 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The 2:1 format sits well above a king-size headboard or a long bar banquette, and since its weight lies in the middle third, centre it on the furniture rather than on the wall. Under low, warm bar lighting the pinks deepen toward coral and the violet ridge turns almost black; in a bright bedroom the white burst near the top carries more. Blush plaster, terrazzo and smoked glass all pick up its colours.

Specified for lobby & reception, living room, restaurant & bar and bedroom; it reads as dramatic and romantic.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#700 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 36×18 in to 100×50 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#700 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Does the dark band in AA#700 depict mountains?

Not literally. The dark band across the middle reads to many people as a mountain ridge under a sunset sky, and the rust swoop beneath it as foreground, but nothing is drawn in detail. It works as abstract colour first, with that horizon there for anyone who looks for it.

Which colour in AA#700 should the room's textiles pick up?

The dark violet of the central ridge is the anchor. Aubergine or plum velvet cushions or a deep purple throw tie the room to the strongest part of the painting, while the larger pink and peach areas are best echoed lightly, in a rug or one chair, so the space does not turn uniformly pink.

Is AA#700 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#700 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#700 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
