About this painting

A river runs under a long, low bridge at sunset, and a path of yellow light comes straight down the water towards the viewer, laid in short dabs of gold and orange. Above, the sky breaks into flat masses of pink, coral, lemon and grey-blue cloud; a white puff of smoke drifts over the bridge's left end, and three small red sails sit at the waterline below.

Colour replaces shading here: violet banks, green water, every stroke left visible as its own patch. The right half is cooler and darker, so the gold path splits a warm left from a dusk-blue right.

IA#147 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing fauvist river scene with a pier, boats and a pink-yellow sunset sky, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 24×20 in (61×51 cm) to 80×60 in (203×153 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Give it the long wall diners face through a whole meal, over the bench seating of a bistro or wine bar, with the yellow path centred on the seats. Its pinks and corals sit easily with brass, rattan, terracotta tiles and warm white plaster; a stark blue-white wall makes the violet banks look heavy. As a horizontal view it needs an arm's length of clear wall either side to read as a window rather than a poster.

Specified for restaurant & bar, gallery & retail, dining room and living room; it reads as uplifting and bold.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#147 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×20 in to 80×60 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#147 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What are the green towers and the white puff above the bridge in IA#147?

The green verticals behind the span are a city skyline seen against the sun, painted as flat shapes rather than detailed buildings. The white puff at the left end of the bridge is drifting steam or smoke, a small cool note that balances the warm sky and stops the left side from turning all pink.

How does the yellow light path in IA#147 behave in a dimly lit dining room?

It stays the brightest thing on the wall. The path and the lemon sky above it are the only near-whites in the picture, so under low, warm lighting they hold while the green water and violet banks drop back, leaving a glowing stripe down the centre of the canvas.

Is IA#147 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#147 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#147 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
