About this painting

Pink, magenta, yellow and orange cosmos crowd the lower half of the canvas, each bloom a thick twist of paint standing out from a meadow of deep blue-green grass. Above them, dark pine spires rise on both sides, mountain ridges fade from cobalt to powder blue, and a pale moon hangs in a swirling sky over a peach band of dusk.

The knife work is heaviest in the petals and the sky, while the mountains are left smoother, and that change of surface opens up the distance between the foreground flowers and the far ridges.

IA#870 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing wildflower meadow before pines and blue mountains at sunset, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The dark blue ground holds its own on a pale wall, so it can face a reception desk or close the view at the end of a hallway and still read clearly from across the space. Warm oak, cream upholstery and stone floors set off its blues, and the flower colours are lively enough to carry a room with little other colour. A ceiling wash or overhead spot lets the thick petals cast small shadows, deepening the meadow.

Specified for lobby & reception, corridor & circulation, living room and entryway & hallway; it reads as uplifting and dramatic.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#870 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#870 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why is the middle of the meadow in IA#870 brighter than the edges?

A pool of warm light falls across the centre of the meadow, as if the last of the sun were still reaching it. The flowers there turn pale and glowing while those at the sides stay dark and saturated, which pulls attention into the heart of the scene rather than out to the frame.

What would pair well with IA#870 on a facing wall?

Something quieter in the same blues. A calm sea or misty mountain view in navy and grey would echo the ridges without competing with the flowers, whereas a second dense floral would make the two walls fight. Repeating one bloom colour, such as the marigold yellow, in a textile or ceramic links the scheme.

Is IA#870 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#870 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#870 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
