About this painting

Two banks of lilac and indigo mountain rise on either side of a pale, misty gorge, and light seems to pour down between them into a valley floor of yellow, tangerine and red.

A peach sky fills the top third. On the left a single teal-green tree stands against the mist, and on the right a crimson one answers it. The colour is blended wet into wet so most edges dissolve, with drier dragged strokes through the yellows and a few tiny dark marks in the sky that read as distant birds. The brightest point is the white gap at the centre, where the two ridges almost meet.

CA#589 is an original colorful landscape painting showing abstract mountain valley in purple, orange, yellow and pink, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Tall and bright at its centre, it belongs on a wall people approach head-on, closing a long hallway or facing a front door, so the misty gorge opens up like a view as they come nearer. On warm white or pale greige walls the peach sky seems to extend the room; on grey it looks hotter. Keep the furniture beneath it low and plain, cognac leather or oatmeal fabric, so the yellow valley floor is not crowded.

Specified for corridor & circulation, guest room & suite, entryway & hallway and living room; it reads as uplifting and romantic.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#589 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#589 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Does CA#589 show a real valley?

No particular place is painted. It borrows the arrangement of a classic mountain landscape, steep peaks framing a misty gap with trees in the foreground, but the colours are invented, so it reads as warmth and light rather than as a location.

How do the purple peaks and orange floor of CA#589 change under warm light?

Warm 2700K lamps push the yellow and tangerine forward and soften the lilac peaks toward mauve, so the valley glows. Neutral or daylight lighting keeps the indigo crisp and makes the gorge look cooler and deeper. In a guest room lit mostly at night, the warm version tends to flatter it.

Is CA#589 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#589 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#589 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
