About this painting

A dancer spins with one arm swept out, and her skirt opens around her in broad wedges of mint, sage, lime and emerald that fill nearly the whole lower canvas.

Her face is turned down in a quiet, featureless profile, black hair knotted high with flicks of gold and a red accent. Warm notes break through the green: coral and red at the hem, an orange flare low in the centre, a pink panel on the right. The cream ground is dragged in vertical knife strokes that drip at the bottom, with a mint patch top right and small coral and blush flowers floating in both upper corners.

CA#1010 is an original colorful figurative painting showing dancer in a flaring green palette-knife dress on beige ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The cream ground melts into ivory, parchment and warm-white walls, so the dancer seems to turn in the room itself; stark white makes the canvas edge more obvious. Panelled walls, herringbone oak and boucle upholstery all suit the soft greens. Her arm reaches to the right, so on a corridor wall she reads best when people approach from that side and the turn opens toward them.

Specified for lobby & reception, gallery & retail, corridor & circulation and living room; it reads as uplifting and romantic.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#1010 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#1010 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why is the dancer's face in CA#1010 left without features?

A blank profile keeps attention on the spin of the skirt and the reaching arm, and lets each viewer read themselves into the figure. It also stops the canvas feeling like a portrait, which lets it work in a boutique or a hotel corridor just as well as at home.

Is the dancer in CA#1010 a ballerina?

Her spinning pose, extended arm and high-pinned hair recall ballet, but there are no pointe shoes or tutu, and the long flared skirt is closer to a ballroom or flamenco turn. That broad reading lets the piece suit dance schools, theatres and private homes alike.

Is CA#1010 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#1010 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#1010 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
