Blue saguaro cacti and pink mountains acrylic painting

Turquoise saguaro cacti rise from a desert of magenta, orange and cobalt scrub, with a pale sandy path winding between them towards a crimson peak under a gold sky. The cacti stand at different depths, two tall columns near the edges and an olive-green one and a smaller blue one further back, which sets the scale of the valley.

Everything is built from flat, knife-cut planes. The foreground is busiest, with a spiky yucca in yellow, green and blue at lower left and a round barrel cactus at lower right, while a navy band at the foot of the pink mountains separates scrub from sky.
