Dark teal, black and gold leaf abstract canvas wall art

A broad gold mass spreads across the lower middle of a tall, dark canvas, wedged between torn patches of deep teal, charcoal and black like old paint peeling from a wall. Above it a pale silver-grey field fills the upper right, its left edge crusted with gold specks, while a column of teal glows out of the black at the top left.

Every boundary between colours is ragged and slightly lifted, so the patches look stacked one on another. The surface is grainiest in the gold and in the charcoal crusts on the left; the black in the lower right is kept smooth and empty, so it feels deep.
