About this painting

Red, coral and orange strokes sweep up from the lower left and burst open just beneath a heavy olive-black block lodged in the top right corner. Around that burst the paint changes character: a sawtooth of slate blue jabs in from the right, white and cream strokes curl like petals at the centre, and pale sky blue settles along the bottom edge.

The top left is the quiet corner, a patch of cream scattered with black flecks and crossed by thin drawn lines, including a small yellow-edged peak. Each stroke goes down in one broad pass with crisp edges, so the movement looks fast and unrevised.

AA#308 is an original abstract painting showing expressive abstract sweep of red, orange, blue and olive brushstrokes, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

With its darkest mass high on the right, it balances best where the room's weight sits to the left: beside a doorway, or at the end of a sofa run so the canvas and furniture offset each other. Ribbed charcoal panelling, grey stone and dark green velvet all make the coral glow; on a white wall the olive block turns almost black. In an entrance hall it holds its own at full height.

Specified for lobby & reception, workspace & office, living room and entryway & hallway; it reads as bold and dramatic.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#308 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#308 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What are the thin lines and black flecks in the top corner of AA#308?

Drawn marks rather than painted shapes: fine black lines, a small peak outlined in yellow and a scatter of dots over the cream ground. They give the eye something small and precise to read after the big sweeping strokes, and they keep that pale corner from looking empty.

Which furnishings pick up the colours of AA#308?

Coral and red are the loudest notes, so terracotta cushions, rust leather or a red lacquer side table will echo them. On the cooler side, slate blue and olive cover large areas, which makes dusty blue upholstery and dark olive or forest green velvet natural partners.

Is AA#308 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#308 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#308 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
