About this painting

Torn-edged shapes in cream, sand and white lock together like a paper collage, held in place by heavy black forms that run through the canvas the way leading runs through stained glass.

A large grey-blue wedge fills the upper right, a pale sage strip stands at the left, and a peach patch with a sliver of soft blue warms the lower right corner. The one saturated note is a narrow orange bar beside a black upright near the centre, echoed by a thin orange curve across the top left. Paint lies smooth and flat throughout, which means the drawing comes entirely from the edges.

AA#1126 is an original abstract geometric painting showing mid-century style collage of beige, cream, black, grey-blue and orange cut shapes, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 10 standard sizes run from 24×24 in (61×61 cm) to 72×72 in (183×183 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Its black shapes carry enough weight to stand up to dark joinery, black-framed glass partitions or a charcoal meeting table, while the cream fields stop it feeling heavy. Boardrooms suit it best when it faces the chairperson rather than hanging behind their seat, so it stays in view for everyone at the table. One rust or burnt orange accent nearby, perhaps a lounge chair or a ceramic lamp base, ties the scheme back to its orange bar.

Specified for workspace & office, home office, meeting & boardroom and living room; it reads as bold.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#1126 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×24 in to 72×72 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#1126 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is AA#1126 based on mid-century paper cut-outs?

Its language is close to them: flat shapes with torn or scissored edges, black used as a drawing line, and one small hot colour against quiet neutrals. It is painted, not collaged, so every edge, including the ragged ones, is made with a brush in acrylic.

Can the orange bar in AA#1126 be changed to a brand colour?

Yes. The orange occupies only the narrow bar near the centre and the thin curve at the top left, so it can be repainted in a company red, teal or yellow without disturbing the cream, black and grey-blue structure around it. A colour reference or swatch is enough to match it.

Is AA#1126 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#1126 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#1126 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
