About this painting

A small brown cabin with a snow-heavy roof sits at the edge of a frosted wood, under a pink sky where a pale yellow sun hangs low to the left of centre. The far trees are crusted in white and read violet against the sky.

The left edge is held by a tall bare trunk and a rust-orange autumn tree with orange shrubs at its foot, a warm block against the cold right side. In front, a wide snowfield carries a broken fence post and tufts of dry grass. Snow and frost are dabbed on in short, thick touches; the sky is blended smooth from pink to lilac.

IA#085 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing snowy field with a small cabin, frosted trees and an orange tree under a pink sky with a pale sun, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 24×20 in (61×51 cm) to 80×60 in (203×153 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Over the fireplace of a chalet-style restaurant or the main wall of a ski-lodge dining room, the wide snowfield gives diners a long, restful view. Hotels that rotate art by season can bring it out from November to February. Dove grey, warm white or dusty pink walls suit it; avoid icy blue paint. Keep the light warm, because cold LEDs turn the pink sky lilac and make the snow look grey.

Specified for restaurant & bar, guest room & suite, dining room and bedroom; it reads as peaceful and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#085 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×20 in to 80×60 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#085 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why does IA#085 put an autumn tree beside deep snow?

It reads as the first snow before the last leaves have dropped: the orange tree and shrubs on the left still hold their colour while the field and the far wood are already white. That overlap gives the winter scene warmth and lets it hang from late autumn through winter.

Which parts of IA#085 are painted most thickly?

The snow and frost. The white of the field and the frosted branches is dabbed on in thick, short touches that stand up from the canvas and catch light from the side. The pink sky and the pale sun are blended almost smooth, which keeps the upper half soft.

Is IA#085 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#085 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#085 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
