About this painting

Emerald and lime water turns in slow eddies across the canvas, as if you were looking straight down into a shallow pond on a bright day. Three pale lime whorls stack down the left side, while the lower right breaks into white flecks and short curling strokes like sunlight skittering on moving water.

There is no horizon, sky or shore, only colour shifting from yellow-green at the top to teal in the middle. The surface is a fine, grainy build of paint rather than tall ridges, so the greens look slightly frosted when light crosses them.

CA#279 is an original colorful landscape painting showing vivid emerald and lime green swirling field with white flecks, like a pond surface, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Pure colour without a story suits rooms where guests come to switch off: a treatment room, the wall facing a freestanding tub in a well-ventilated bathroom, or the long blank wall beside a guest-suite bed. Pair it with limestone, white oak, bouclé and brushed brass; the lime highlights warm up next to honey-toned timber. Side daylight brings out the grain, and in a tall, narrow bay the canvas behaves like a window onto water.

Specified for spa & wellness, guest room & suite, bedroom and bathroom; it reads as peaceful and uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#279 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#279 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is CA#279 meant to show water or foliage?

Most people see water: the circular eddies and white flecks behave like ripples on a pond seen from above, and the greens shift the way weedy shallows do. Because nothing is drawn literally, it also passes for a canopy of leaves, which keeps it open to either reading.

How does the surface of CA#279 look up close?

Fine and granular rather than heavily ridged. The paint forms a sandy, slightly raised skin with swirling strokes on top, so at arm's length you see pits and crests of colour, and from across the room it smooths into moving water.

Is CA#279 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#279 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#279 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
