About this painting

A valley folds down toward a cream and gold sunset sky, its slopes laid in curving terraces of blue, teal and green that wind into the distance like the bends of a river.

On the left edge a young tree climbs two-thirds of the way up, its yellow, red and orange leaves bright against the cooler hills behind. The bottom third is a tangle of plum and violet branches, mustard and olive foliage and small orange sparks. Sky included, everything is cut with the knife into flat, angular slabs, so up close it reads almost like stained glass and only resolves into a landscape a few steps back.

CA#1000 is an original colorful landscape painting showing rainbow knife-stroke valley with winding river under sunset sky, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The eye enters at the thicket along the bottom and climbs toward the sky, so the canvas suits a wall that guests walk straight at: the closing wall of a long corridor, or the one facing a front door, where the view seems to open with each step. Its cool upper half sits well with grey stone, concrete or slate floors, and the warm foliage picks up honey timber. Between two guest-room entrances, a slim pier of wall suits its upright shape.

Specified for corridor & circulation, guest room & suite, entryway & hallway and living room; it reads as uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#1000 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#1000 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the valley in CA#1000 a specific location?

No particular location is painted. The curving bands of blue and green suggest terraced hillsides or a river winding through a valley, under a generic sunset. As an imagined landscape it fits a scheme without tying the room to any one region or country.

Which half of CA#1000 dominates under evening lamps?

The warm lower half. Under evening lamps the yellow, orange and plum foliage takes over, while in daylight the cool blue hills and pale gold sky come forward instead. Rooms that mix grey and honey tones let each half have its turn through the day.

Is CA#1000 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#1000 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#1000 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
