Deep teal, navy and lime speckled galaxy acrylic painting

A luminous band of teal and lime curves through a dark, star-speckled sky, much like the Milky Way seen on a clear night far from any city. Deep navy, almost black clouds fill the upper left and lower right corners, and the band runs between them from a yellow-green glow at the top down to the lower left.

Countless fine white specks crowd the darkest areas, while larger round dots of white and lime are scattered more sparingly across the band. The colour is laid in soft washes and spatter rather than raised paint, so all the depth is optical.
