a large vertical abstract painting of tangled black and white paint drips flung over patches of red, orange and pale gold, layered into a dense web, in poured splattered acrylic

About this painting

Black and charcoal paint is poured in looping skeins across the canvas until it nearly buries a pale gold ground, and white is flung over the top in drops, spatters and long thin trails.

Red breaks through in patches, strongest low on the left and in a scatter across the middle, with orange flaring higher up and along the right side. The gold survives only in torn gaps, so the warm colours feel glimpsed rather than shown. White does the most work: fat round drops gather left of centre, fine threads run to the edges, and where the drops pooled they sit slightly proud of the surface.

AA#130 is an original abstract painting showing Pollock-style drip and splatter web in black, white, red and cream, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Raw brick, black steel and dark-stained oak suit its black web and red flashes, and because red is its only strong hue it can join a mostly monochrome scheme without breaking it. Keep the wall itself light, off-white, pale grey or bare concrete, so the black reads as line rather than mass. A narrow wall-washer above the canvas picks out the white drops, which matters in a dim bar where the dark passages would otherwise merge.

Specified for corridor & circulation, restaurant & bar, gallery & retail and entryway & hallway; it reads as bold and dramatic.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#130 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#130 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

How much red is there in AA#130?

Less than the first impression suggests. Red holds a few patches, mostly in the lower left and through the centre, with orange and pale gold in smaller pieces. Black, charcoal and white make up the bulk, so a room can treat the painting as monochrome with a red accent.

What do the white drops add to AA#130?

Light and depth. Without them the black web would close into one dark mass; the white splits it into layers, so the eye moves forward and back through the tangle. The largest drops sit left of centre and catch the light first, giving the canvas a loose centre of gravity.

Is AA#130 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#130 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#130 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
