Studio photograph of the actual canvas. Yours is repainted to your dimensions, so brushwork will differ slightly — that is what an original is.

About this painting

Saturated cobalt floods the lower half of the square, while a slab of butter yellow and a strip of olive green hold the upper right corner. Where they meet the blue, a thin dark line crosses like a distant horizon, and a single scratched stroke drops through the yellow. The upper left is broken sky blue scuffed with navy and ochre; the lower right sinks into near-black.

Nothing is blended smoothly. The paint is dragged and dry-brushed, leaving pale scratches and the grain of each pass, and the roughest, thickest strokes sit in the cobalt where the colour is strongest.

AA#337 is an original abstract geometric painting showing dragged blue field with yellow and lime bands, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 10 standard sizes run from 24×24 in (61×61 cm) to 72×72 in (183×183 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Against black fluted panelling or charcoal plaster the cobalt looks almost lit from within; on a white wall the dark corners do the framing instead. A square this intense holds a wall alone, so leave clear plaster around it rather than crowding it with shelving. In a showroom or studio reception, hang a 60-inch or larger version opposite the entrance so the colour registers from the door. Grey upholstery, smoked glass and brushed steel let the blue lead.

Specified for workspace & office, gallery & retail, living room and home office; it reads as bold and uplifting.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#337 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×24 in to 72×72 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#337 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is there a horizon in AA#337?

Loosely, yes. A thin dark line crosses the canvas just below the middle, where the yellow and green blocks stop and the cobalt begins, so many people read the top as sky and the bottom as water. Nothing else is described, so it stays an abstract colour field.

How does the cobalt in AA#337 hold up under warm lighting?

It loses a little punch. Very warm lamps around 2700K make blue look duller and push the butter yellow toward amber. Under neutral white light of 3500 to 4000K the cobalt stays at full, almost electric strength, which matters in an office or showroom where the blue is the reason for the painting.

Is AA#337 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#337 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#337 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
