Navy, sky blue, lemon yellow, turquoise and blush pink overlap in loose rectangles, like panes of coloured glass laid one over another. The knife drags each colour sideways, so edges fray and white shows through as scraped highlights.

A tall sky blue strip stands near the top centre, a navy column runs down the right edge, and a wide pale blue slab fills the lower left. Mustard and turquoise bars cross the middle, while a few small black squares at the bottom centre act like full stops. The pink, tucked into the top right and lower right corners, softens what would otherwise be a cool, hard palette.
