About this painting

A loose flock of small gold birds crosses the middle of a deep blue marbled field, just where cobalt gives way to a paler sky blue.

Gold flecks gather in two clouds, one spilling from the top left corner and one settling at the lower right, so the birds travel between them. An indigo stain runs down from the top right and a silver-grey ridge pushes in at the left. Over the lower half the pour has dried into a fine lacy pattern of cells, turquoise fading almost to white.

AA#523 is an original abstract animal painting showing blue fluid abstract with gold foil flecks and small gold flying birds, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Saturated cobalt changes with the wall behind it. On charcoal or deep grey paint the blue seems to glow and the gold birds sharpen; on warm white or limestone the canvas reads lighter, closer to open sky. In a guest suite, set it facing the bed instead of over the headboard, keeping the flock in view from the pillow. Daylight from one side shows the lacy cells at their best.

Specified for spa & wellness, guest room & suite, bathroom and bedroom; it reads as calming and uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#523 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#523 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Can the birds in AA#523 be made out from across a room?

As a group, yes; as single birds, only closer up. The flock is small against the whole canvas, so from a lobby distance it reads as a flicker of gold crossing the blue. From a few steps away each bird's swept wings are clear.

Will the gold in AA#523 clash with chrome taps and fittings?

Not much, because the painting already carries a silver-grey streak along its left side next to the gold. The two metals meet in the canvas itself, so chrome picks up the grey while the birds remain the warm note. Brushed brass suits it just as well.

Is AA#523 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#523 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#523 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
