About this painting

A dark forest-green shape with a torn, uneven edge holds the left side of the canvas, while a ribbon of sage ridges loops from the top-left corner out to the right and back down to the bottom. The two greens are handled in opposite ways.

The ribbon is sculpted into parallel raised ribs, pale sage on the crests and deep green in the folds, bending like a bundle of reeds. The dark shape is lower and denser, its surface finely scored rather than ridged. Between them the white ground is combed into lines that follow the curve, so even the empty area seems to flow.

TA#480 is an original textured painting showing dark green shape with layered ridged green bands curving over white plaster, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Green and white without a recognisable subject is easy to live with where a literal landscape would feel busy: the wall facing a treatment bed, a guest-room wall opposite the bed, or a corridor wall near enough to passers-by that the ribbing shows. Moss or olive upholstery, pale timber and limewashed walls all suit it. The ribs show best with a window to one side; a downlight straight overhead flattens them.

Specified for spa & wellness, guest room & suite, bedroom and corridor & circulation; it reads as peaceful.

Colour palette

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#480 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#480 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why do the two greens in TA#480 look so different?

Surface more than colour. The sage ribbon is raised into rounded ribs that catch light on their crests and hold shadow in the grooves, while the dark mass is lower and more even, so it absorbs light and reads as a solid weight against the white.

Does TA#480 depict a landscape?

It is an abstract, though it is easy to read as a river bend or shoreline seen from above, with the dark shape as land and the ribbon as moving water. That ambiguity suits a spa or hotel room, where an image hinting at nature without spelling it out wears well.

Is TA#480 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#480 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#480 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
